Apple Macbook - Poor build quality
I’ve only had my Macbook a couple of months and have already been a bit dubious about the build quality - there are a number of places around the machine where the plastic definitely moves more than it should.
A colleague of mine, more familiar with Mac than I, mentioned that the build quality in the Macbook line is shit compared to the old Powerbooks..
I’m not even sure how this crack has started, I wear my watch on the left wrist and TBH I don’t even rest my hands/wrists on or near that part. The rest of the grey ‘overlay’ doesn’t raise at all so i’m guessing that the glue has just parted at this point and become snagged from time to time.
Gonna take a trip to the local Apple store to see if it is covered by Apple Care or whether they’ll replace it for me - I can’t really do with the down time to send it for repair at the moment.
Not impressed at all.
